Day -42 : it’s raining, man : Boscastle to Port Isaac

04.04.2022: Yes! Finally it is raining. And I hoped to get snow here, like my family in Germany had the recent days. After weeks of splendid weather there must have been a change sometime and that was today. I was wet, really wet and was happy to warm up in my van after today’s walk.

I left my van in Camelford and took a really early bus to Boscastle to start my walk. Compared to all the other days and weeks it was a new experience. On hand hand it was a welcome refreshing rainy day but on the other hand it started to influence my mood. And I was thinking of songs like „dancing in the rain“ or „It’s raining men“ and my mood improved instantly. I also listened to an audible book again and the walk nice even if even my socks were wet.

From Port Isaac I went on a bus (nearly missed it) to Camelford to get dry in my van again. I love the Truma App where I can start the heating from anywhere. These IOT devices can be quite useful…

As I passed Tintagle but had visited it 2-3 years ago I just added 2-3 pictures further down.

Below are some pictures of the coastline. Please click to enlarge if you want. Also below are my Komoot Tour Details, the Relive Summary Video and a Timewarp Video.
