29.03.2022: Rain! At least when I woke up. But during the day it got better and better. Taking the Coastliner bus towards Lands End and got off in Porthcurno. The Coastliner is a double decker bus but rooftop is open. I was not really willing to sit upstairs. On the other hand it would have been the best Covid protection I would have had…
I started at Purthcurno beach with clouds. I have seen this magic place with rain and with sunshine before. It is wonderful when the light of the sun colors the water in a very special way. But even without sunshine it was wonderful to see – with only a few people on the beach and I took some aerial photographs as well.
The stretch was very picturesque but also very difficult at some stage. I really had to play Tetris with my feet! Ultra big pebbles and massive stones on the path (you can best see it in the timewarp video) – I had to take that challenge and was very happy that I had my two little friends (the walking sticks) to have some support. I am getting older…
But Tetris is not only a game or a challenge on my path but also a bit of the challenges in life. You have to take them and accept them! Some won’t be put in the perfect way, but once they are settled, they are history. You cannot change them. The only way to change them is in your mind, to change history by a different angle of view. Okay, too much psychology now. But I had a great day with Tetris on my path and was happy in the end to have managed it without twisting my ankle or anything else.
